How do I get a Montana Fishing License?

They are available online or we will pick one up at one of the shops or license agents when you get here.

What about flies/(bugs),leaders, tippets?

We have a full selection of everything in our Flyshop, and all of the guides are fully stocked when you are on the water...

Do you teach beginners?

Yes, we teach all skill levels. We even have a few tricks for the seasoned river vets.

Do I need to bring my own gear? What should I bring?

Bring whatever you would like. For rods, we recommend 5&6 weights, but if you have a 3, 4, or 7 weight and would like to use them, there is always an opportunity. Waders & boots, vests, hat, raingear, polarized glasses, and, of course, don't forget the camera & sun screen. If you don't have any of these items, we can outfit you with whatever you need for a great day on the water.

Where are you located? What rivers are in the area?

Twin Bridges is in the heart of Southwestern MT. Three 'Blue Ribbon' trout rivers come together forging the fourth 'Blue Ribbon' trout river in the area: The Beaverhead, Big Hole, & Ruby rivers meet hereabouts to form the Jefferson. We're where Rainbows & Browns will challenge you with every strike.
